Good morning, I'm Adam, an consultant software engineer, specialising in immersive tech, and technology lead at
Yellow Design. I'm also an avid DnD player,
and play folk music in my spare time. No I won't cut my hair and yes I have several dorky tattoos and plan on getting several more.
Welcome! My name is Adam and I'm an immersive consultant working on everything from API development to 3D modelling. I am also technical lead at
Yellow Design, an immersive startup providing soloutions ranging from tourism to advanced manufacturing.
My background comes from a year and a half as an immersive engineer at
Kainos, graduating from Ulster University
in 2019. During my time here I won several prestigious awards for my work including placement innovation award, and Total Mobile recognition award.
I have previously partaken in community outreach events with schools and other companies helping people
become better coders! In my spare time, I run a regular dungeons & dragons group, and occasionally
play folk music in the corner of pubs when I can get my hand on an instrument.
Where can you find me? I'm always on twitter shouting into the void about games, music, and of course: tech. It's on my twitter you'll
be able to get updates on all my (not NDA'd) projects, link is above. You can also
email me if you'd like
me to talk at an event, help you with community outreach, consult on a project, or even join your D&D game.
Alright, since you've read this far, here's my favourite joke: My mum always warned me that 'sticks and stones will break your bones
but words will never hurt you' but last week I fell into a printing press...
